Recruiter was friendly. Clear communication. Asked basic questions about salary and role fit with few technical questions. Asked about AI usage in process.
Clear, straightforward with some feedback offered (thank you for not being completely cold). Personable.
Q&A with the team. General questions. Portfolio review.
Was asked to create designs for a home management app. Pretty straight forward. I built a full app that was responsive and worked with mobile and included illustrations and functional AI tools.
Onsite review of take home assignment and design exercise. They seemed to want to see the sketches... which I tanked on. I spent most of my time thinking up ideas or organizing information. The sketches were bad. I most often work at high fidelity either directly in code or with premade figma design system and components which makes even wireframing fast. Figma wasn't really an option and the PM's sketches were better than mine.
Recruiter indicated someone with HR industry experience was selected. No other feedback provided.
