Privacy Policy

Who we are

Authentic Loops (the “Service”) is operated by Cameron Moll LLC (“Cameron Moll LLC,” “we,” “us”) — a website where people can share and read accounts of company interview processes. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in, we use OAuth via LinkedIn or Google. Those providers share a basic profile with us — typically your name, email, and a profile image — which we use to create and identify your Authentic Loops account.

Content you submit. Anything you post on Authentic Loops — companies, job titles, interview stages, and your written descriptions — is stored so we can display it on the site.

Session metadata. When you sign in, our authentication provider records the IP address and user agent associated with your session. We use this to maintain your session and to help you recognize unfamiliar logins on your account.

Forwarded emails for verification. If you choose to verify a loop, you forward us one email from the company’s hiring system. We process the email’s subject, body, and headers in memory to confirm the DKIM signature and extract the company it’s about. We do not save the email to our database. The verification-related data we keep on your loop is: the verification status, a timestamp, the domain that DKIM-signed the email, and — if an attempt didn’t pass — a category for why and the time it happened (only visible to you).

How we use information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve Authentic Loops.
  • To display the content you submit to other visitors of the site.
  • To communicate with you about your account or material changes to the service.
  • To detect, investigate, and prevent abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms of Service.

What is public

Loops you publish are public by default — anyone visiting the site can read them. Your display name and profile photo are shown alongside loops you post. Please do not include the names or personal details of interviewers, or any confidential information about a company, in anything you submit.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate Authentic Loops (for example, hosting and authentication providers), and when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

AI processing for verification. When you forward an email for verification, we send the email’s sender, subject, and body to Anthropic (the maker of the Claude language model) so we can extract which company the email is about. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train its models. Anthropic may briefly retain the inputs (currently up to 30 days) for abuse monitoring before deleting them. This only happens when you opt in by forwarding an email; we do not send any other content you post on Authentic Loops to Anthropic.

Your choices

You can edit or delete loops you have posted. You can also request deletion of your account and associated content by contacting us at the address below. Some information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

Data retention

We retain account and content data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. We may retain limited information after deletion to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

Forwarded emails used for verification are an exception. We process them in memory and discard them as soon as the verification check completes — they are never written to our database.

Children

Authentic Loops is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the site or communicated by email.
