Was referred by a current employee. Recruiter reached out and we did a phone conversation about the company and possible roles.
Came into the office and spent half a day having great conversations with various employees about the company and possible roles.
Full day of interviews and formal exercises. Failed the coding interview and one other interview, which is ironic at a company that develops AI coding tools. Got feedback after about how that went, which was helpful, but very very annoying to "fail" something I can obviously do, that they don't need me to do anyway, and especially after having such great conversations with people and feeling like I was very valued there.
